Lyn Olsen

I am a contemporary artist living on the east coast of Australia and have been painting since 2001. My husband and I, who is a brilliant photographer, are widely travelled throughout Australia and we complement each other in our chosen profession. Working with acrylics, inks, glazes and charcoal, my work starts out adding colour in many forms, using scrapers, fingers, palette knife etc. to create wonderful vivid images to take me in the final direction I am aiming for. Texture is often added for interest and depth, resulting in harmonious, colourful paintings. Exhibiting in New York and being represented by a gallery in New York has launched my international career. Italy, Hong Kong and Las Vegas are on the list of exhibitions, as...
