Grass Trees are native to Australia and grow all over in the dense scrub country. They are a protective species and live for hundreds of years.They are green in nature, but a little bit of "artistic licence" and I have made them purple !
About Lyn Olsen
I am a contemporary artist living on the east coast of Australia and have been painting since 2001. My husband and I, who is a brilliant photographer, are widely travelled throughout Australia and we complement each other in our chosen profession. Working with acrylics, inks, glazes and charcoal, my work starts out adding colour in many forms, using scrapers, fingers, palette knife etc. to create wonderful vivid images to take me in the final direction I am aiming for. Texture is often added for interest and depth, resulting in harmonious, colourful paintings.
